Translation

José

What about now, José?
the party finished,
The light went out,
the people disappeared.
the night cooled,
What about now, Jose?
What about now, you?
You are nameless
mocking the other,
you who write verse,
he loves, he protest?
What aboud now, José?

No woman is,
is without speech,
is without love
can not longer drink
can't smooke
can not even spit,
the night cooled,
the day didn't come.
the train did not come.
laught did not come
didn't come to utopia
and all ened
and every thing ram
and all moched
what about now, José

What about now, José?
your sweet talk
you moment of fever,
your feasting and fasting.
your library
your gold mine,
suit your glass
your inconsistency
your hatred, and now?

With key in hand
want to open the door.
there is not door;
wants to die in sea
but the has died;
want go to to Minas
Minas aren't more
José, what about now?

If you screamed,
if you groan.
if you touched,
viennense waltz.
if you slep.
if you tired.
if you died...
But you don't die,
you are, tough, José!

Alone in the dark
which back woodsman
without the ogany.
no blanck wall
to learn,
without a black horse
that escape the galloping.
you marches, José!
José, where?
